BIO

Pascal Eichenberger, a graduate engineer from EPFL and seasoned business leader, has a career deeply rooted in technological innovation. Currently at the helm of Elitebrain, he leads this company specializing in solving complex problems and integrating emerging technologies. Believing in the transformative power of technology on society and the economy, Pascal is fully committed to their development and application while valuing human potential. As the vice-president of the think tank Manufacture Thinking, he is actively involved in the strategic reflections of this collective aimed at stimulating the Swiss industry. “AI agents will profoundly disrupt the engineering profession. We’ve moved from the pen to the mouse; let’s prepare to collaborate with AI agents as they are the pen of tomorrow, reinventing both factories and drawing boards.”

With over 10 years of experience as CEO of various software companies in the service sector, Pascal has orchestrated significant transformations to facilitate digitalization and elevate these companies to the next level. His leadership proved crucial when he courageously and agilely managed a major cyberattack, highlighting the importance of robust cybersecurity for SMEs in a digitized world. “Our dependence on digital technology is growing. For a company to survive, it must be prepared to handle cyber incidents. Such events will soon be as common as the arrival or departure of an employee. Let’s prepare.”

Early in his career, Pascal Eichenberger worked for 8 years at Logitech, where he first utilized his engineering skills in the R&D department, actively participating in the design and production of global products, notably between San Francisco and Taiwan. During this period, he founded and led the Logitech EPFL incubator. These experiences allowed him to navigate effectively within technological, academic, and industrial environments, learning to identify what needs to be reinvented and what should remain intact—a deliberate and pragmatic approach to innovation. In addition to his engineering expertise, Pascal enhanced his career with training at IMD, entitled “Mastering Technology Enterprise,” increasing his understanding of business and financial dynamics, a true catalyst for his subsequent transition to executive roles.
